Hester Hudig

My name is Hester Hudig (1971).

Ever since I remember I felt a ‘hunger’ to understand what motivates people. At First how I get motivated. Finding out what moves me or not. Then, also from a professional point of view, also looked at the people around me. A deep longing to understand and gain insight into the human behaviour.

In 1994 I get introduced into psychosynthesis. A gentle, forgiving and sometimes confronting way to look at myself. And therefore at others. This introduction leads to following a study in psychosynthesis in 2002.

Besides this training I became curious to the mediumistic work. Following studies at the Arthur Findlay College in the United Kingdom contributed greatly to the development of my intuition and sensitivity to energies.

Outside the work in my practice I teach the WYSE “Primary Transition Programme” at Primary Schools in Islington, London. The aim of the Primary Transition programme is to assist final year children to feel empowered about their transition to Secondary School. The programme involves five sessions to create an understanding about their reactions to change and encourage a healthy transition.

In 2007 founded the practice Skinship. My wish was to work with motivated people. People who like to change their lives for the better. Or those who feel they are in a transitional period and would like to be aware of what is happening.

All work forms I use in my work (psychosynthesis, drawings, dreams, bodywork and energy work) I have experienced myself too. I know from personal experience what it’s like to be ‘the client’ in an individual session.
